Get to know Michael
Michael is responsible for Hawksmoor, the investment management business of the Argentis Group. He joined the firm at the start of 2025, having spent most of his career at the Swiss bank UBS AG, where he was most recently Head of the Ultra High Net Worth and Family Office businesses across Northern Europe. He then spent a short period at the corporate broker WH Ireland until its sale in 2024.
After graduating, he spent his formative years in the tax divisions of Arthur Andersen and PwC. He is also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
Beyond work, Michael is a Board Trustee of The Land Trust and Chair of the Investment Committee. He is married to Samantha, an environmental scientist, and they have three children who are no longer on the payroll. They moved to London from Wiltshire a few years ago, and Michael still misses the garden!
