Get to know Simon
Simon is a financial planner and team leader of the Financial Advice Service team. He holds a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and provides advice across a range of areas, including investments, retirement, and protection planning.
He has been with Argentis for three years and has more than 20 years of experience in financial services. His role focuses on getting to know his clients, understanding what matters most to them, and identifying their circumstances and needs.
Simon is passionate about helping clients achieve outcomes that benefit them both now and in the future. The Financial Advice team shares this philosophy, delivering tailored advice and placing strong value on building long-term relationships.
Simon lives in Yorkshire and, outside of work, enjoys spending time with his family and making the most of the local surroundings.

Qualifications
Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP)
This is the industry benchmark qualification for mortgage advisers, recognised as a mark of excellence and professionalism. Individuals attain the required understanding of mortgage policy and practice and the skills to effectively apply this knowledge when advising a client.
Financial Planning Certificate (FPC)
A recognition offered by the Chartered Insurance Institute in the United Kingdom. Individuals who hold this qualification have satisfied coursework and testing requirements set by the organisation.
Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS)
This level 4 diploma meets the FCA’s qualification requirements for retail investment advisers, demonstrating core technical knowledge and financial planning capabilities across six core areas.
