Get to know Phil
Phil is Head of Academy and Development at Argentis. He has worked in regulated financial services since 2000, beginning his career as a face-to-face financial planner. He holds the AFPS qualification from the CII and spent his first 10 years advising clients directly, before moving into the development and training of financial planners across the sector.
In his current role, Phil’s focus has two main strands. The first is leading, delivering, and managing the internal training programme for those looking to become financial planners within Argentis, as well as supporting the development of existing advisers and working closely with administration and paraplanning teams. The second is leading the Financial Advice Service team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and high-quality advice to clients across the UK.
Outside of work, Phil enjoys family life, good food and drink (particularly Italian), and holidays.
