By placing an order with Argentis Limited, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Data and Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information that we collect about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 1998.

We collect information about you only to process your order and provide you with the best possible service. We will not pass your information to a third party.

We will not email you unless you have given us your consent. We will only contact you in connection with your instructions and keep you well informed should we have any difficulties providing you with the goods ordered.

We will only hold your contact details and purchase history. We will never hold sensitive information about you without your consent.

You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. Please note that if you refuse "cookies" the website may not function properly.

Ordering

All Argentis Jewellery is sterling silver and usually carries the 925 mark.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate. We are unable to accept orders in any other currency.

Argentis Ltd makes every effort to provide an accurate image and description of all products. However, due to factors such as monitor screen resolution and display/colour settings some products may differ slightly when received.

All weights and measurements are approximate.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure that prices and details are correct, data entry errors and other technical problems may result in inaccurate prices being shown. In such cases we are not obliged to honour the quoted price.

The quoting for the supply of an item does not guarantee that we have said item in stock. We would normally be able to obtain and supply an item within two to fourteen working days. The despatch time quoted on our website is measured in working days and excludes weekends.

All orders are subject to a minimum £10.00 charge. If the order total is less than £10.00, you will be charged a total of £10.00 for that order.

When you click on Checkout, you will be transferred to our secure area to finalise your order. During the transaction, all data is encrypted. To ensure that you are in a secure area of our site, please check for the closed padlock or an unbroken key in the bottom corner of your browser. No-one will have access to your private details. We do not hold any credit card details on our servers. All data is encrypted again and protected by a firewall, the specification of which has been recognised by the major banks.

Your payment will be shown as Argentis Ltd on your credit/debit card statement

Due to the nature of the clearing system, your credit card payment will be taken at the point of ordering. Should a problem in supply occur, we will make a refund as appropriate.

Jewellery can only be despatched once payment has been received in full.

Delivery

All jewellery is presented in a complimentary gift box and includes postage and packaging.

Orders are sent via Royal Mail and will require a signature. The person who placed the order does not have to sign for it (for example when delivered to a work address), however, this still constitutes a completed delivery.

We can only to deliver to the addresses in the United Kingdom.

Pendants are supplied on a 16" chain as standard unless otherwise stated.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to offer you a refund. You should contact us by email within 7 days of receipt. We will then issue a returns reference and details of how to return the goods to us.

You will be responsible for the cost of return postage and a deduction from the refund total may be made if the goods cannot be resold as new. We suggest that you return the goods using a signed-for service as Argentis Ltd cannot be held responsible for any returns sent.

All items must be returned, unworn, in the gift box received together with the original packing slip.

All sales of intrusive jewellery (e.g. earrings and body jewellery) are final, for hygienic reasons and cannot be returned except for the following reasons:
